Is a reservation deposit required??

A 50% deposit check is required when making cabin reservations. The balance is due 30 days prior to check in. Parties of 6 or more may also be required to leave a security deposit. We do not accept credit cards.

What if I need to cancel my reservation??

Your reservation deposit is refundable, less a $50 cancelation fee, up to 61 days prior to your check-in date. Within 60 days of your reserved dates, no refunds will be made.

Is maid service provided??

No. These are housekeeping cabins, which means that you “keep house” just like you would at home. You are required to leave the cabin(s) in as clean a condition as you found it when you arrived.

Do I need to bring my own bedding??

Yes, you need to bring your own bedding and linens, also bath and beach towels.
Pillows are provided.

Is smoking allowed at Locke Harbor??

Smoking is not permitted inside any of our buildings. And we ask that you be considerate when smoking outdoors; make sure you collect your cigarette butts and dispose of them properly in the trash. Do NOT leave your cigarette butts on the ground, on our beaches, in our boats, or in the fire pits!

Your website says “No Pets Allowed.” If I pay a security deposit, can I bring my dog??

Sorry, no pets are allowed on the grounds at any time. No exceptions.

Do I need to bring a coffee pot? ?

All our kitchens are well equipped, with a 12-cup drip coffee maker, toaster, and microwave oven.  They have an assortment of pots, pans, baking dishes and trays, and complete dishware and utensils.

Are we allowed to have campfires??

Yes ~ campfires are a cherished part of the “Adirondack experience” you’ll enjoy at Locke Harbor!  Each cabin has it’s own fire pit, and there are several more outdoor fireplaces near the beach. You’ll find firewood available for sale at several locations in town.

Can I put a motor on your rowboat??

Yes, you are welcome to bring a trolling motor to use on our rowboats. If bringing a gas motor, we ask that you keep it under 20hp, please.

My friends will be at the State campgrounds the same week we’ll be at Locke Harbor. Can they come over and join us??

No. Only registered, cabin-renting guests are allowed on the grounds at Locke Harbor.
