The six million acres of the Adirondack Park are known worldwide for tranquility, beauty and recreational opportunities.  And Locke Harbor is located right in the center of it!
Our camp consists of five unique cabins tucked along the shoreline on 37 forested acres, with abundant wildlife.  Lake Abanakee is pristine, with few motor boats and no marina; just four and a half miles of paddler’s paradise.

At Locke Harbor, your vacation can be spent as leisurely or as actively as you choose. We encourage you to unplug, unwind, and tune in with nature. So peaceful are our surroundings, you may find yourself sleeping in late every morning.  The beautiful views from each cabin invite you to linger a little longer, coffee in hand. Evenings can be spent fireside, enjoying the call of the Loons as they interrupt your quiet conversations.

If you prefer an active vacation, hiking, biking, fishing and paddling are just outside your cabin’s door. Sign up for a whitewater rafting trip, climb to one of the several mountaintop fire towers. Spend a day Geocaching. Work your way toward becoming a “46er” by summiting one or more of the High Peaks. The options are nearly limitless.

At the end of each day, you’ll return to the inviting comfort of your cabin. A hot shower and cold beverage await. A well equipped kitchen makes meal preparation a breeze. You’ll find books, playing cards, and videos to while away an evening. And the comfortable queen beds will leave you well rested and refreshed.
